Step1
=======

Root bridge selection-Least bridge id prefered  if tie lowest MAC address
Default priority value is 32768

Step2

Selecting root port

Least cost is preferred. cost will change based on bandwidth higher the bandwidth less is the cost
Every non root switches will have one root port

if tie it will go lowest bridge id and mac

if tie again least upstream port number not local port


Step3
======

Selcting designated ports and blocking ports

all ports in the root bridge will be in forwarding mode
